About

I was a social worker for 17 years, before making a major career change into real estate. I worked as an in home family counselor before building my own family counseling program through a non-profit agency. There I provided supervision to 8-12 counselors and therapists and enjoyed building relationships with all kinds of families and my team.

Real estate was a logical transition because so much of real estate is about building relationships and helping people meet their goals. As a family counselor, I understand the emotions that can go into buying and selling a home. I have high standards for myself and others and I exude a long history of a strong commitment to care, quality service, compassion, and a determination for positive outcomes and change.

I grew up in Des Moines and I know the area well. I currently live in Altoona with my husband and two daughters. I love sports, running, camping, playing with my family, and laughing with my friends. I am a member of Altoona Christian Church where I am active in the youth programs, the outreach committee, and I visit with the shut-ins.

I am very excited to be a part of the Keller Williams team. I am a part of the core group that came over from Burnett Realty. WI4C2TS! Look for me and my win-win or no deal philosophy! Let me help you….

Find Your Next Home
You need someone who knows this area inside and out! I can work with you to find the right home at the right price for you, including all the neighborhood amenities that matter – not to mention the essential criteria you have for your ideal home.

Sell a Home
When it’s time to move, you need someone who will advertise your home, show to prospective buyers, negotiate the purchase contract, arrange financing, oversee the inspections, handle all necessary paperwork and supervise the closing. I can take care of everything you need, from start to close.

Consult on Home Selling Tactics
Oftentimes buyers don’t visualize living in your home the way you do. I can make your home attractive to its ideal audience – which can help you get top dollar. Things like staging the home, making repairs or minor improvements, or even simply painting the walls can be the difference between a home resting on the market and one that’s sold fast.
